In Your School and in your Community - Scotland
Find out about our work in schools in the rest of the UK
Our training and outreach team works with schools, youth and community groups.
Importantly we listen to what you tell us and this helps shape what we do.
So what do we do?
Peer Support
Peer support is all about young people helping each other by being there to listen and support each other if someone is lonely, worried, upset or frightened. There are many schools in Scotland who have set up peer support schemes with ChildLine Scotland - including Playground Pals, Buddies, Peer Supporters and Peer Mentors. If you would like your school to get involved with ChildLine Scotland through our peer support programme, talk to your teacher about it and ask them to get in touch with us. Or why not show them this page and they can click on this link: Get in touch with ChildLine Scotland.
Delivering the Anti-Bullying Message
ChildLine Scotland receives many calls from young people around the issue of bullying. We visit schools, youth and community groups and provide talks and workshops on a range of issues around bullying, helping you and your school or youth group deliver the clear message - bullying is not acceptable.
Awareness Raising
Maybe your school or group would like us to come and tell you all about ChildLine and our work. Why not speak to your teacher or club leader and ask them to contact us.
How can you get involved?
We are always interested in what you think about our work and your views play a big part in how our service develops. To get involved have a look at campaigning in Scotland.
